The Summer Fellowship is a 16-week program for highly engaged engineering students who want to grow the impact of their student organization and themselves as leaders. Fellows applied to the program to tackle organizational leadership challenges, which are summarized here. Over the course of the summer, fellows learned about organizational culture, values, planning and change management, at the same time as they assembled their executive teams and developed their plans. Now they poised to put that learning into action for the 2017-2018 year ahead.
This open event is to showcase the learning and growth of the Fellows, and to connect their efforts up to the wider U of T engineering ecosystem. Each of the 13 fellows will give a short (5 minute) presentation on their learning to date and plans for applying that in their organization, followed by questions.
