Sandra Odendahl

SandaOdendahlSandra leads RBC’s Social Innovation team, responsible for global strategy and leadership in driving social impact through RBC’s community, business and employee initiatives. She was appointed to this role in November 2015 after 8 years as Director of Corporate Sustainability at RBC. She also heads RBC’s Social Finance Initiative, a $20 million program to catalyse the use of private money and financial markets to solve environmental and social issues.  Sandra is the Board Chair of the Toronto Atmospheric Fund, where she has been a director since 2011. She is a Board member and Finance Committee member at Pollution Probe.  In December 2013, Sandra was one of 12 Canadians appointed to the federal Ministerial Advisory Council on Social Innovation. Born in Ottawa, Sandra has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Ottawa an MASc from the University of Toronto. Sandra is a licensed professional engineer, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
