The job market is evolving which means it is time to evaluate your career exploration strategies and establish some intentional next steps. Join us to discuss:

  • How to see and be visible to the hidden job market, and uncover hiring opportunities in times of uncertainty 
  • How to reframe your story so you can follow up on opportunities and meetings with your unique and best self
  • How to network and conduct ‘field research’ meetings in uncertain times using LinkedIn and Engineering Connect
  • How to maintain your “HEROIC mindset”, that is, having Hope, Efficacy, Resilience, Optimism, Intentional exploration, and Clarity and Curiosity

About the Facilitator: Mark Franklin

Mark Franklin, MEd, PEng, is the practice leader of CareerCycles.com, co-founder of OneLifeTools.com, and instructor of ILead’s course, Engineering Careers: Theories & Strategies to Manage your Career for the Future (TEP1030H). Mark has over 10 years’ experience as a career professional and was the 2015 winner of the Canadian Career Development Foundation’s prestigious Stu Conger Award for Leadership.
