The Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering (ILead) is pleased to welcome you to our new website! Our new online presence reflects an exciting period in ILead’s history. The Institute grew from the success of the Engineering Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program, established in 2002. Since then, thousands of U of T Engineering students have participated in our unique leadership development opportunities. As we retire the LOT name, we want everyone to know who leads Canada in educating leader-engineers: the Institute for Leadership Education in Engineering!
In 2010, ILead was established to support the growth of leadership education that LOT offered, extending its mandate to academic and industry-focused research, as well as outreach to leadership educators around the world, including top tier engineering schools like MIT, Stanford, and Penn State in the United States. This website replaces the former LOT website at lot.engineering.utoronto.ca. Please update your bookmarks to reflect our new hub: ilead.engineering.utoronto.ca.
