About 

The Troost ILead Emerging Leaders Program is a special leadership development opportunity for students who are looking to become meaningfully involved in FASE student clubs/organizations and want to boost their leadership skills with the aim of taking up higher-level positional leadership roles within their clubs.  

Who is this for? 

This engaging program is perfect for students wanting to gain leadership skills and get involved in and take on a leadership role in FASE clubs and organizations. Emerging Leaders program will support primarily 1st and 2nd year students with an interest in club-based positional leadership in skill building opportunities and to create a pathway for the leadership aspirations at FASE.

Program Format

Emerging Leaders will meet once a week from 5.30-8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in person at the St George Campus from September 17th until October 8th, 2025. 

Participants can expect to spend 1-2 hours per week outside of sessions working on professional development readings and reflection journal activities. 

Application

Spaces are limited to 12 Emerging Leaders per cohort –  registration opens August 11th, 2025. Deadline to register is by September 10th, 2025.  

Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and all applicants will be contacted by September 12th regarding program admission decisions. All accepted participants must reply by September 14th to confirm their participation.

  • Sept 17 - Oct 8 | Program sessions on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:00 pm (St. George campus)

  • October 1st - Session 3: Fostering Strong Teams Through Effective Communication & Collaboration
  • October 8th - Session 4: Bringing Your Leadership to Life & Setting Your Plan in Motion
