Club Leaders Series
ILead’s Club Leaders Series is designed to help students involved in FASE clubs and organizations grow as leaders. Whether you’re aiming to step into your first positional leadership role, effectively manage a team, or bring about positive change at your club, the Club Leaders Series will equip you with the leadership skills, competencies, and confidence to achieve your leadership goals.
These three programs are designed to complement students at different stages in their leadership journey. Read more about them below to find out which one is right for you.

Troost ILead Summer Fellowship Program
What is it?
The Summer Fellowship brings together student leaders who are committed and driven to improve their club or organization, as well as themselves as leaders. Participants bring an existing idea or change project that they want to work towards for their organization. The Summer Fellows form a tight-knit group to push each other’s learning through workshops, discussions, speakers, hands-on work, and peer feedback.
Who is this for?
Current and emerging student leaders from any club or organization with an interest in exploring and developing their leadership skills and addressing key challenges in their club or organization.

Leadership Legacy Program
What is it?
Leadership Legacy is a 5-week program, aimed at graduating students who have been involved in executive leadership roles in Student Clubs/Design Teams to develop skills around executive transition and succession. Participants will be empowered to think and plan their final transitions from their student organizations and prepare for life after university.
Who is this for?
Student leaders in their graduating year from any club or organization with an interest in exploring and developing their leadership skills from the lens of executive succession and journey out of student leader roles and into being a young alumni.
What you'll learn
Participants will learn how to effectively transition their leadership roles, embrace mentorship roles, consider their roles as young alumni, and learn how to transition the skills and lessons learned in their student organization to their workplace and community. Participants will find connection, belonging and support as they navigate transition and leave with a greater understanding of how they can continue to contribute and receive leadership support post-graduation.

Emerging Leaders Program
Who is this for?
This engaging program is perfect for students wanting to gain leadership skills and get involved in and take on a leadership role in FASE clubs and organizations. Emerging Leaders program will support primarily 1st and 2nd year students with an interest in club-based positional leadership in skill building opportunities and to create a pathway for the leadership aspirations at FASE.
What is it?
The Troost ILead Emerging Leaders Program brings together students who are interested in getting involved in student clubs, organizations, and design teams and are looking to elevate their personal and organizational leadership skills. The Emerging Leaders form a community network that encourage each other’s learning through workshops, discussions, guest speakers, alumni panelists, hands-on activities, and peer feedback over the course of the 4 week program.
What you'll learn
Participants will learn how to apply various leadership tools, inventories, theories and frameworks in strengthening their own leadership skills and identity. Working collaboratively with others on engaging hands-on activities, participants will get to practice effective communication, teamwork, and active listening skills while building their network of student leaders. Participants will get to explore ways to create more inclusive student organizations as they learn about applying empathy, EDIA, Authentic Leadership, phycological safety, and practical tips for positively influencing a team. The program will also include an exciting session with a panel of alumni student leaders to share their experiences and advice on how to lead teams and enhance your leadership skills during your time at UofT.
